Introduced PC and related technologies to Markel and its subsidiaries. Worked directly with departmental users to develop strategy for implementation of these technologies to be both cost effective and efficient. Wrote first PC based business applications to supplement mainframe systems. Installed and maintained first LAN for the then Marketing Research Department.
