Project Lead Year 2000 Lab
December 1998 - Present
Responsible for creation of and coordinating use of the Year 2000 Test Lab for St. Luke's Y2K testing. St. Luke's is a leading hospital
within the Texas Medical Center.
Responsibilities are:
- Supervise three employees and two consultants
Coordinate scheduling and use of the lab with all other areas of Information Management to insure timely completion of St.
Luke's Year 2000 software application testing
Supervise readiness testing of all infrastructure hardware and software, specifically:
- Mainframe
- RS/6000 servers with AIX operating system
- Intel servers with NT and NetWare operating systems
- Lan Infrastructure equipment
Major Accomplishments
- Completed buildout of lab in four weeks
- Completed installation of servers and network equipment in eight weeks.
- Continued timely ongoing support of the Year 2000 effort
Current Projects
- Develop Fiscal 2000 budget for the server support group
- Coordinating redesign of the St. Luke's PC Common User Interface (CUI)
- Coordinating effort to transform the Intranet Help Desk Site
- Coordinating creation of an Intranet Technical Information Web for internal IM usage
- Installation of Pegasus network measurement software
